I filled out the form online and was called up a few hours later, the agent had music playing in the background and didn't sound like he was in an office. He asked what I wanted for the car and said he'd come back to me. He then called at 4:30pm, on route to picking up his kids! He offered me a good figure and emailed me the following night, cc'ing Andrew King the Purchasing Manager of sell your jam jar. The whole process started to sound like a scam because:

There is NO feedback on independent sites, there are testimonials on sellyourjamjar.co.uk however I can't find any of these "customers" online (Facebook etc).

They had no interest in settling the finance on the car and said that I could do it myself - seems highly strange as this is usually a must for any company buying a car - you get the difference. I owe thousands on finance so its not like its a minor consideration.

They have no addresses online, no where to actually track them down if there is an issue.

I apologised for being cautious and politely said that I didn't feel comfortable proceeding. Later that evening I received an email from Andrew King the Purchasing Manager at sellyourjamjar.co.uk calling me a c*(K - I would avoid AT ALL COSTS - I have sold and traded many cars over the years, this company may or may not be fraudulent but I wouldn't trust them.

This seems to be connected with Money4YourMotors.

    From Review Centre:

DO NOT USE! they will lure you in with high ESTIMATED valuation of your car but will lower it much more than any other similar company when they come and inspect the car. Terrible experience from start to finish. Please use we buy any car or any other company. Valuer in Hull region was a difficult man . I repeat DO NOT USE.

    Other reviews here.

I would be inclined to ignore the 5 stars (I wonder who wrote them) as all the others sing a familiar refrain. They turn up and offer you much less than they quote.
