Self employed, do you ever feel like just packing it in and getting a normal 9 to 5?

    This is what i did. Self employed motor trader for a couple of years - long hours, customers with unrealistic expectations, long hours and narrow margins meant it was just becoming a drain.

    Went back into IT temping, got a job almost immediately as an IT manager initially for three months, then extended, then extended again. Was told to apply for the job when it went permanent but in the meantime got another job elsewhere on the back of it, so now in a comfy role with no pressure at all and i can leave at 16:30 and go home and forget about it. AND a decent wage too :beer:
