Random Question - Broke Lawnmower
Hi All,
My electric flymo electric lawnmower will not start. After taking it apart to clear the grass and to see what has gone I discovered that the black wire had burned out. It seems that the wire has a white heat wrap on it and the otherend is encased with a plastic cover.
I’ve tried to locate this part on the official flymo website but not sure what it’scalled.
Does anyone have any ideas on what it is? Or would i just replace it with another wire.
Not keen on buying another lawnmower if it's just a case of simply putting a new wire in.
I do have pictures of it, but unable to upload them on here.
Or failing that, if anyone knows of any decent gardening forums i can upload them to.
Kind Regards

The question to first ask is "why did the wire burn out?" Get it tested first.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
