PPI question.

Hello all.
I've just received the third letter from Lloyd's, complete with what looks like a standard questionnaire, trying to get me the claim for PPI on a loan I took out in 2008. I binned the previous letters as, tbh, I couldn't be bothered. (Yes, I know
)
The loan in question was taken out during a bad period in my life. My now (thankfully :mad:) ex-wife had just left me and I was in a bit of a state. Living in Dorset at the time as managers of a caravan park, we jointly owned a motorhome which I kept as part of the split. We bought it on finance over ten years (never again) and it had one year remaining on the loan, but on my wage, I couldn't afford the repayments. I took out another loan with Black Horse which paid the initial loan off, gave me a few pounds worth of breathing space, and was for an amount that I could afford each month. Not many months later, I moved back to my beloved Yorkshire and in either 2009 or 2010, can't remember which, I sold the 'van and cleared the loan.
I presume I must have taken PPI out but I honestly don't remember. All I can remember is leaving the bank in Bournemouth, getting back to the 'van, laying in bed and crying myself to sleep
. I was later diagnosed, and treated for depression and nervous exhaustion. Anyhow, life moves on, and thanks to my Whistling Gypsy, who I met on these very boards, :A:T:j, life is good again.
The loan I took out was for something in the region of 10k and I don't have any paperwork relating to any of it so is it worth trying to claim? (Lloyd's seem quite persistent so perhaps I should bite the bullet??)
Thanks in advance.
Martyn.

Just fill in the form as honestly and fully as you can. Any questions you can't answer then just say that you don't know. There is no problem with not having paperwork since the Bank obviously have all the details.
Good luck.0
