Distance Selling Regs - One Order, Multiple Items

Options
Another question ..

I have searched and searched online but can't find the answer to this:

If you order something online and the order is made up of multiple items and some of them are faulty/not as described and you want to return only the faulty items ..
Under the Distance Selling Regs and rights to cancel the purchase within time specified by the Regs - do you have to send the WHOLE order back, including items that are ok, in order to receive the full refund of all original monies, including postage, paid?
What I mean is, say you've ordered 4 items (as I have - clothes) - and you want to keep one item but the other items are rubbish (basically - not sized as labelled, completely wrong colour etc.), can you send back the 3 wrong items and get a part refund of original postage, say, or does it not work like that and has to be all or nothing.

Cheers in advance for any knowledgeable answers!

For refund of original postage, it depends on how the order was structured. If it was given as postage per item then you get back the postage for the items returned; if it was given as postage per order then you're not entitled to a part refund of postage.

(That's my understanding - I don't have anything I can link you to).

Thanks Bod, think I'll just send back the 3 items and expect refund for those but no postage. I've got a label from them for free postage back too.
