Asda Sunglasses

Hi all,

I bought some Polaroid sunglasses from Asda last year, they cost £25 and are meant to be 'no glare' which sounded great.
Unfortunately, the problem with them is that they DO create glare - it's like looking into the sun without glasses, they're that bad!
Very disappointing and I would have returned them but thought I'd lost the receipt.
Was clearing out paperwork yesterday and found the receipt and it's still within a year of purchase.
I've worn the glasses maybe twice at most and they're basically useless to me. I now wear a pair of Foster Grants that actually do what they are meant to do and were much cheaper than the polaroids.
Feel like taking the Polaroids back to Asda now, £25 is a lot of money to me - is this within my rights and are Asda likely to refund?

Thanks.

Exactly the problem photome, thanks for replying!
Sorted. Lovely woman sorted me out with a voucher to the value of the glasses, for general Asda spend - which is always useful.
Think it depends who you get sometimes . .
