Paying off my CC

in Credit cards
Hi all
I was just wondering if Vanquis take a DD from me today for the full amount to clear my card, when will that credit my card?
I know if I pay by debit card it clears and is "available" on my card 2-3 days later, is this the same with directndebit or does it credit same day?
Thanks in advance

Doesn't quite answer the question but if you have a DD to pay the minimum (or full) payment then the CC company will have set it up to credit the account on the required date.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0

That's what's worrying me, payment needs to reach my account by 19th (today) however they've only taken the DD (full amount) today.0 -
DD is simultaneous debit/credit, so your payment will credit today.Moomin2014 wrote: »That's what's worrying me, payment needs to reach my account by 19th (today) however they've only taken the DD (full amount) today.0 -
Nothing to worry about.
The DD will be credited to your account with today's date (it probably will show after tomorrow morning's update).
Even if the bank takes the DD a day or two late (can happen if the 'due date' falls on a weekend/bank holiday) it still will count as paid on time.0
