Banners broker pyamid scheme

Hello,
my name is TARA and I'm here to warn everybody about an INVESTMENT (pyamid scheme) called Banners Broker. It is supposed to be a Broker for advertisers/publishers but in reality the advertising industry has never heard of it, it has NO adverts and hasn't paid out regularly since March 2013.
Their company registered in the IOM was liquidated in February 2014 and its $6million in assets frozen by a judge. Many families and the elderly especially have been lured into this investment on the promise of 'double your money' but sadly, it will only take it all. If you are offered the chance to invest in this company or Banners Mobile, please don't give them any money.
Thank-you for listening,
Tara.

Threads already on it but its not really investing
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

Thanks for letting me know, and althrough 'it isn't really investing' your correct. Its sold as a 'business' that you have to work and do tasks for, like giving positive testimonials. But if a business isn't about making money, then what's the point of doing it in the first place?

This was being flagged as a scam 3 years ago on both MSE and Motley Fool:

It's shame so many investors only turn to forums after they have lost their money rather than checking before handing over cash to a company they have never heard of.

Your right Reaper, people SHOULD CHECK first, but the particular problem with this 'investment' is that affiliates are encouraged to leave their money in for long periods of time and many are blissfully unaware (or just don't believe) that there is a problem.
The elderly especially have been targeted and they are not computer savvy and don't read the warnings all around the internet.
I write on many forums such as this to let people know that they CAN get their money back via the Chargeback process or through the liquidators :Paul Cooper @ David Rubin and Partners London, Email paul.cooper@drpartners.com.
    020 7400 7900
They currently have 750 creditors and it is not to late to claim.
I personally recommend the Chargeback process and am happy to help anybody with information.
