Unauthorised Transaction From My Halifax Easy-Cash Account! STOLEN

Hey Everybody.

Recently, i got paid £145.23 from work after 5 days. And i checked my balance at 12:23am to see if i had my cash. So i get ready and go to the bank to withdraw my cash and i only have £38.23 left in my account confused as i am i ask Halifax staff for instance. They we're no help and made me use the pgone to sort out my problem. A kind lady who works for the self service halufax in the other end of the phone told me that 2 conpanies i've never heard of have taken upto £105 out my bank. Yet she never rold me how i can retrive my money. So i need help if anyone can give me advice how to get my money back? I feel cheated. I really do neex that money back. And am unsure how to get the money back. The two companies are called 1) Mail-finance & Ward Options. two companies i've never heard off. Please any help would be great cheers.

You need to tell Halifax that you're disputing the transactions as being unauthorised. They should then refund the money unless they have reason to believe that the transactions were authorised, read through your rights as explained at http://www.fca.org.uk/consumers/financial-services-products/banking/your-rights/unauthorised-payments

No, i haven't looked into a loan. My wage is more than enough to last me 2 weeks. This is why im confused with money being taken. I have a paypal and a ebay and a skyvegas account. Which i've contacted have not had any transactions from me. So i rang halifax and told them they said thats correct. The only information they gave me was its 2 off shore companies. Im worried about my next set of wages now. Which i've moved to my barclays account

Tell Halifax card services - the number will be on the back of your card or on a statement that the transactions are fraudulent and they will sort it out.
This could happen with any account - take care to check all bank statements in case.

The bank will normally only help you when the transactions actually appear on your statement, Then you can ring and dispute them.

However if the companies listed come back with all your information then the money will be taken back.
