Old Egg Card & CRP??

Following a call from one of the claims companys last week I want to try & find out if my old Egg card had CRP on it. I can't remember when I obtained the card, sometime during the 1990's but I kept it going until at least 2008. The only piece of paperwork I have retained is a letter I received when I changed banks & a reminder to update my d/debit instruction, at least this has given me my old Egg Card number. I've read various articles but I'm unsure as to what I need to write and request copies of to ascertain if CRP was on my account and if it was I'll have to fathom out if it was mis sold to me, any pointers would be appreciated (Oh by the way I don't intend using a claims company)
