I opened an account with Lloyds more than 50 years ago on my eighteenth birthday and have stayed with them ever since. I have never had any kind of problem with them. I always find their staff courteous and helpful, and on the one occasion that I had to go overdrawn for a few days because of a late payment they didn't even charge me. They even pay me interest on my current account and no charges for running it.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0

I've never had an issue with lloyds either in 10 years - i like when people can counter stories like this with experiences0

I have been banking with Lloyd since five years ago. I am also banking with other high street banks so have privilege to compare it.
I have a few products with them e.g. few current a/c, credit card saving, regular saving, etc.
I have not had any problem with them.
It was good if the one who discredit Lloyd could tell their story and problem so people could make judgement
What I have seen here. People complain and make a fuss because
- They have been stung by the fee because of their own faults.
- Request a loan /credit card / Mortgage but do not get approved.
- Have a debt, can not or do not want to pay and try to make a fuss.
- Request the legitimate default to be removed because of their own faults .....
This type of people might be better to put their money in the peer to peer lending, have their loan, debt from loan shark.0 -

With more than one OFFICAL complaint to Finanial Ombudsman every two minutes, no wonder the FO is ALSO accused of corruption. (With such an incredible volume of end-ending complaints, how could they possibly get 100% correct?)
The author of this post, together with numerous other victims telling the truth on Lloyds FB page, is barred.
One of the few places to air genuine grievances is on the new site, "The People against Lloyds".
Post, re-post and share to expose this EVIL company!

Illiterate rants like this tend to just make the writer look dumb, and in any case this type of torch wielding conspiracy theorist mob mentality might be better placed on CAG, where they seem to love stuff like this.
"The people against Lloyds"?....good grief man, grow up! :rotfl:0 -
Lol, this is the muppet who thinks waving a piece of paper in a branch prevents his own son from operating his own accounts.
Lloyds have one of the lowest complaint rates in the UK, but don't let those pesky facts get in the way of your stupid rants.DEBT FREE!

The OP seems to have a grudge against Lloyds, Bank of Scotland, Kwik Fit, and Abbey Life.
He also thinks Lloyds is controlled by the cosa nostra, and that the Banking Ombusdman is "corrupt"!The_Famous_Cash wrote: »Like all m a f i a controlled business, I know I will not get them to comply and the corrupt Ombudsman is just a joke."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. I just had a funny thought. What if the OP was very clever and worked at Lloyds marketing department? Knowing a rant like that would generate a subsequent wave of messages praising Lloyds!
I highly doubt this is the case, and realise this doesn't add much to the thread, but wanted to share what my rambling mind thought.
I've always been a NatWest customer so neutral on Lloyds.0 -
The OP's incoherent ranting reminds me of someone I knew years ago who thought that the Freemasons and the Devon & Cornwall police were in a conspiracy to murder her. Very sad.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0

That Facebook page is hilarious!
A whole 19 'likes', and evidence of what appears to be a breakaway splinter group called "Getting back at Lloyds", which boasts another 10 'likes'.
Is it just me or does The People's Front of Judea spring to mind?
SPLITTERS!! :rotfl:0 -
Am I missing something?
I looked at the Facebook page but I can't see any complaints about Lloyds, not even from The Famous Halfwit who started this thread.0
