Was just wondering whether anyone knows the rough price of a new wing mirror for a Focus?

Some @rsehole has hit mine and it looks like all of it needs replacing. The only thing salvagable is the metalic clip on outer shell! :wall:

Thanks guys. :)

Sorry mate, yeah it's electric and 2002 model.

Are they difficult to fit? :undecided

Nah not usually - just flick the inner panel off the corner of the inside of the door and then it's 3 bolts and unclip the electrical connecter and away you go. Refitting is the reverse of removal.

Hey d'ya mind if I nab your knowledge too on this? Some lil a?!* hole bashed the wing mirror off ours yesterday (clean off, we found it along the road), but my partner is gonna try do the work himself. He gona go to the local scrapyard to look for the right part. It is a Vauxhall Vectra LS DTi Year 2001. Are these easy enough to fit??

Is the mirror heated? Might make installation a bit more troublesome.

 Do you write Haynes Manuals?

If so, you should say "simply remove.....", and then we know we're in for a three-hour struggle and at least two skinned knuckles. :D :rotfl:
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

Pretty much all modern cars simply need a plastic trim on the inside prising off, a few bolts undoing and a couple of electrical connectors undoing for the electric/heated ones.

Thanks for the help. Well that sounds simple enough then. Oh, yeah, it is an electric/heated one. Hopefully that doesn't make it a lot trickier?
