My mum moved into a new warden aided flat in February 2013. She moved from a smaller flat to a larger one on the same site. We contacted EON to inform them and gave them meter readings from the old and new flats. She was informed her monthly direct debit would only be £25. If there is an open complaint on the account, (it sounds like there is) I would advise you to speak to the person that is holding this.

They are the ones that are dealing with it, if you can't come to a resolution with them, it needs to go to the next stage of the complaints process. (this process is on the website)

I'm more than happy to put in you in contact with the person looking after this for you, if you'd like.
