Gym Membership

I have only recently joined MSE so this is my first post.
My daughter signed up for a gym membership, at the time she was only 17, she has realised that she cannot afford to continue and would like to cancel. My question is as this is a credit agreement and she was under the age of 18 is it legally binding? There was no mention at the time she signed up whether she would be able to cancel and what the cancellation notice would be.
Any help would be appreciated.

She has only been a member for a couple of months and put her correct date of birth which clearly showed she was only 17. They didn't seem to question this at the time.0 -

As she is a minor, the contract may be voidable.

However, if she has continued with the membership since turning 18 they might argue that she has ratified the contract by so doing.0
