Anyone know where I can download good free software to edit pdf files?
I have spent all week end downloading various ones including adobe acrobat XI pro and none of them seem very good to me (or I'm not very good with them). They seem to need a lot of time trying to get the sizing right in the fields etc.
Any one know a simple easy to use free one to edit pdf files?
Many thanks x

PDF's aren't really meant to be edited - you really need to go back to the original file and amend that, acrobat pro will convert a PDF to Word format, but it won't be an exact match.
Serif Page Plus (£80) claims to be able to fully edit PDF's.0 -
I use acrobat pro. It will do most of the editing in the pdf format but graphics are fiddly to re-size and you can download a trial version for free. Its just not that simple to use - I had to ring tech support to ask how to do something!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
I use https://www.pdftoword.com
It works OK most of the time, but sometimes fouls up big time!0 -
If the pdf is difficult to edit in Acrobat Pro that suggests it was badly prepared when it was originally converted from the source.0

Try foxit pdf editor.0

You can try a free trial of NITRO (http://www.nitropdf.com/try)
This is a brilliant program - and is the full undiluted package !!!
It does the job - but you need to ensure that you use it within 2 weeks
Don't think that by uninstalling it - running ccleaner then trying another trial, free by different email address will work - I tried and it doesn't allow this !!!0 -
In Adobe Reader, you can pay Adobe an annual fee of £19.89 or something for their built-in converter. That converts the PDF to Word.
If it's a one off, I suggest nitropdf trial for 30 days as above. I actually bought it a while back for £50 or whatever. It's about £80 but I uninstalled it and they gave me a discount code (I knew this in advance)0
