Balance Transfer Help

New guy here so go easy 
I'm coming to the end of my Mint 0% period so I am looking to apply for a new card to balance transfer. So I went ahead and applied for the Tesco Clubcard credit card.. accepted straight away.
Now I haven't really read into these things much in the past but now I see a balance transfer from Mint to Tesco wouldn't be possible?
When would they make me aware of this if this is the case as they haven't done so yet? (Card is due to arrive in the next few days)
If this is the case then who would be the best to balance transfer to? And would it be best to just discard the Tesco card? I only wanted it for the balance transfer.
Any help would be much appreciated.
