Named Passenger

I'm a named passenger on a holiday only the lead has booked me using my chosen name (middle name) instead of my first name, as such the initial is different. The flight is last minute so I don't know if this can be changed on short notice, or will check-in be able to understand the situation?

My Dad uses his chosen middle name and always book as such. As long as both your names are on your passport and your photo matches you I can't see it being a problem personallyI haven't got one!0

I believe that the name on your ticket has to match that on your passport. I would contact travel agent/flight carrier first thing tomorrow.0

I've just done this with Ryan Air:eek:
I booked my Mom and Dad tickets to Weese when they did their free flights offer and without thinking booked my Dad in his middle name as thats what he is known as.
I didn't realise until my Dad pointed it out the night before they flew. I rang Ryanair and was told it was okay. (But I was still worried as Ryan air are not known for their customer service)
The checkin girl queried it when they booked in, but let it go so i'm pretty sure you will be okay.
Enjoy your holiday! But if ever I stray from the path I follow
Take me down to the English Channel
Throw me in where the water is shallow And then drag me on back to shore!
'Cos love is free and life is cheap As long as I've got me a place to sleep
Clothes on my back and some food to eat I can't ask for anything more0 -
If the name is on your passport you should probably be OK - if it isn't prepare to get a cab home unless you are very, very lucky indeedHate and I do mean Hate my apple Mac Computer - wish I'd never bought the thing
Do little and often
Please stop using the word "of" when you actually mean "have" - it's damned annoying :mad:0
