Need some electric or petrol lawnmower recommendations

Can anyone recommend a reasonable lawnmower that is either:
a) Electric (must be cordless and have a good battery life)
or:
b) Petrol but with push-button or key start (this is essential - this is for my wife and she hates using cord-start mowers).
Must be fairly rugged and reasonably powerful as we have thick grass with moderately uneven ground (moles keep paying us a visit!).
The budget is around £250.

This one - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bosch-Ergoflex-Cordless-Lithium-ion-Lawnmower/dp/B00AF995R0 - is supposedly good, I have the corded version and it's done fine. You may need to up your budget.0

Thanks very much, I'll take a look at that.

If your grass is thick then the cordless Bosch might not give you very long battery life.
I've been considering one of these recently but have been put off a bit by the reviews, which seem to be either "it's great" or "it's cr4p" with nothing in between. (Actually maybe most reviews are like that!)
The Bosch also seems to have a few cases of conking out after a year or two.
I'm staying clear of battery powered mowers for now until the technology develops a bit.
You might struggle to get a petrol mower with electric start for your budget.0 -
I recently bought a Bosch 340ER rotak electric mower, I think it does a great job and it seems very well put together - but my model does have a cord. Must be a cordless version out there.0

Thanks again, people, please keep 'em coming.
