Outdoor bins

I'm looking to buy a couple of these because foxes are a big issue in my area, and I've seen some 110l plastic bins on amazon for a decent price. I was just wondering if anyone has one of these and if they do, could they let me know how many black bin bags it holds? I've read through all of the product reviews on amazon and they don't mention anything of the sort.

Any other recommendations would be welcomed.

That depends on the size of and how much you stuff in the black bags. But for me I would expect to get 3 in.

Would a wheelie bin be better?

As above, a wheelie bin is fox proof.

I know, but the wheelie bin is a little bit out of my price bracket atm.

Here's me thinking all councils now provided wheelie bins!

Nope. We're in an area without wheelie bins. Landfill waste gets put out for collection in black bin bags. Actually came in handy when we moved house, as the number of bags we put out in one week would have filled about three wheelie bins! Thought the binmen wouldn't take them all but they did. :D

If only they were. I've had to put bricks on ours on two occasions over the period we have had wheelie bins, they seemed to know when the bin was full so they only had to lift the lid with the nose, we caught it on cctv on 1 occasion.
