Lincolnshire conservation area, grants for window change

I would like to know if there is any grants or help to help me pay for a replacement of windows.
I live in an conservation area and am only allowed to put wooden windows in my property, with 8 panels in each side of the windows, so a lot of wood is going in to it. So is going to be very expensive.
I was wondering of anyone knows of any grants going for this. My local council haven't had any money for grants in the last 3 years and won't be having any in the near future.
Thanks
Julie

And why should there be grants available to replace you windows?Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

Good luck !
That's the thing when you buy old houses or houses in conservation areas I'm afraid, I live in a Grade II* listed so know where you are coming from - you would like something more energy efficient I suppose like us - similar windows to you 6 pane Yorkshire sliding sash.
No chance of grants here for us so it's a case of every penny counts, do home work, shop around for quotes etc. Just had two new windows done to a similar style for an extension we've had built, just shy of a couple of grand for the two.You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0
