Confused about Ryanair Checked Baggage

Hi all

Im about to book a Ryanair flight for a couple of weeks time, and im having a problem understanding the checked baggage situation.

Is all checked in baggage charged for?

    No.

    You get a free 10kg allowance for a cabin bag which you can check in if you want.

    After that any more has to be checked in and paid for

    Thankyou .... Its not really that much of a Low Cost Airline is it :rotfl:

    And what with their Fuel Policy, I think next time I would rather pay an extra £100.00 and go with a 7/7 Safety Rating and Service Airline.

    No such thing as a low cost airline - airlines like Ryanair are low costS airlines, which means their costs are low. This can translate into low ticket prices but it doesn't guarantee it.

    BUT why would you want to pay £100 more assuming everything else is equal?
