Transferring from Credit Card to debit Card

I have a barclaycard and i need to withdraw money in order to buy a car. However, i don't want to take money out of it from a cash machine for obvious reasons.
I rang barclaycard customer services today and they said i could not transfer money from their credit card to my current account.
Anyone know what the cheapest way to take money from the credit card?
