Just a tip about the Sambucus in pic 1. They have the most amazing and unexpected pink flowers and are a lovely plant. However, I think it might get far too big for the space where it is planted now. Maybe try and move it in winter?

Thanks will move it somewhere in winter. looks odd were it is stuck next to a wall anyway

I'm agreeing with most of the suggestions ,having got on to the thread late in the day! You've got some classy plants there what with all the azaleas, acer & sambucus nigra etc. What do you think about the Shrub in pic 15 being 'Viburnum tinus'?

thanks. that looks right having checked it on the net
