Hi guys,
Would REALLY appreciate some help - thanks in advance. I have a list of email addresses in Excel, around 400 emails, all in their own row on an Excel sheet. I want to copy and paste into a mass email, or at least a good few per email, to send out mass emails rather than 400 separate ones.
When I try (I use Webmail) they copy and paste ok - but paste into one mass email, not individual ones - i.e. not email addresses separated by a semi-colon, making them unsendable. I haver copy and pasted before and all is ok, they come out as individual ones. Does anyone have any tips on what I'm doing wrong this time?:beer::T:A

I do the same with an Excel list of 1300 addresses, but use Outlook for the e-mail - when I paste them in they appear as one big block, but if I tab out of the 'To' box, it formats them as individual addresses no probs. so not sure why Webmail doesn't. Maybe try pasting into Word first, then into Webmail? Could be a format issue in Excel.0

Thanks guys, think it's something to do with webmail - I can copy and paste successfully into Outlook and also my BT Internet - but not webmail grrrr, in webmail it is coming up as one huge mush, not separated by commas, nothing. Is there any way of setting up or connecting outlook to my webmail address?Pounds, shillings and pence; I caught a dirty wench, I gave a cough, her leg fell off, pounds shillings and pence :rotfl:

If all the addresses are in 400 rows in column A, put a semi-colon in B1 and Fill Down to put 400 semi-colons in column B
Select A400 to B400, copy, and paste into Notepad or another simple text editor. This will yield
email ;
email ;
Select the spaces in front of, and the semi-colon in the first line, and do a 'replace all'. Paste this into the first replace field and put ';' in the second. This will place the semi-colons immediately after the e-mails
email;
email;
email;
and you can now paste the whole thing from the editor into your 'To' field in your mail program. Or edit the text to take out the carriage returns, and put all the e-mails in one line.0
