they do look a bit weird! but when you have cupboards either side not so noticable but have a look at the Elica site and you will see weird ;)
just had a search on john lewis who do Elica and a few other brands, they have one at 75cm wide, smeg and 21 at 80cm most seem to be Elica and a vast range of designs and prices. Neff only show 60, 70 and 90 and Bosch website you can't search by size so you have to click each one
hope some of that helps you bit of a problem isn't it with all these diff hob sizes now.

OK, at the budget level there seem to be only really 2 contenders for an 80cm
One is a CDA which seem to have bad reviews, other is Luxair which seems quite highly rated.
    Bargain???

more details on the company website did you see this?

    https://www.luxairhoods.com/cooker-hoods-wall-mounted/80cm-cooker-hoods/80cm-cooker-hood-ss-premium-hood-101-102-detail

have you noticed that on the link you have posted in the large print it says 80cm and then in the details it says 70cm and also their extraction rates don't match the company website - if you thinking of going for it just double check the details

just noticed too the company website says 7 year guarantee shop says 5, sounds like a good guarantee?

can't comment on the brand or the shop you are looking at - sorry

We got ours from Ikea for £100. They have quite a few different sized ones but the seller for me was the 5 year guarantee they come with. Every where else seemed to come with the standard 1 year and some are stupidly expensive for the job they do. Im more than happy with ours.
