Halifax PPI letter Need advice.

I have received a letter from Halifax saying that I am possibly owed a ppi refund on a loan. Couple of things raised my suspicion.
1. The letter seems to be copied as it doesn't have their blue logo just in black.
2. It is addressed to mr & mrs. My name is correct but the man's name is not my ex-husbands or even anyone I have ever had an association with.
3. As far as I can remember and according to my experian report I have never had a Halifax loan.
I rang up to query but they couldnt confirm anything about the man's name on there but did confirm a loan of £10 000 that was taken out in 2006 and repaid by 2010. Due to personal circumstances after a divorce I really don't think I would have been given a loan at the time.
Really don't know what I should do now. Any advice welcome please.

either fill it in and send it back, or don't.
Let them sort it out.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
There was a period a while back where Lloyds TSB (as they were then) were sending out letters like that. Black and White and looked like inferior copies of the real thing. That generated a load of queries on here. They were in fact real letters from LTSB.
It could well me they are mixing your name up with another couple, whose partner has the same name.? It happens.
