Dubious about unknown suppliers..

Looking around at utility suppliers, I think I need a bit of reassurance that the lesser heard providers are just as good as the well known ones british gas etc

Can anyone back this up?

Just as good or just as bad? (some of the big & well known suppliers do not have the good reputation that you seem to assume they might) In fact in a Which survey the top 5 suppliers for customer satisfaction were all smaller & lesser known suppliers!
