Mortgage and employment probation period

Hello!
Seems like I'm at a transition point in life...
Looking to buy our first place, and also change job.

I'll most likely be moving to a company where I could negotiate not having a probationary period. Especially if I mention that I'm in the process of purchasing a house. (They're very accommodating!)

Just wondering if anyone knows whether this would cut the mustard with lenders? Is it going to make things significantly more difficult even with a copy of my contract and letter from employers?

Thanks in advance :)

Depends on the lender, some say employed for the last 12 months, some say with current employer 3 months, others just say employed - if your going through a broker let them know, if your doing it yourself ask the question of the lender before applying.
