Laminate flooring underlay question

Could someone tell me whether you generally have to buy the underlay separately or is it included with the laminate boards?

Cheers

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Usually use the Combilay myself as it combines a damp proof membrane and cushion for the boards. If your floor is more uneven you may need the fibre board variety.
That gum you like is coming back in style.
