lost money whilst in the bank

Options
i paid my tesco credit card bill off as i always do but they have changed there account details, apparently they have written to me but i haven't received anything. the money is now missing and its a lot of money. my bank has put a search for this but it ll take 21 days? tesco's said its my fault and they cant do anything to help. i'm concerned about my money and the interest i will now get because of this. the money hasnt bounced back so in my mind this means tesco's must have it in an account some where?

If you paid the actual bill, sent to you by Tescos, in the bank, and have if stamped, then I would have thought it was up to the bank and Tesco Bank to sort out.

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)

It will be in a holding account with the bank I imagine... my OH transferred £15 to a closed current account of mine and if I knew the hassle we had to go through to get it back beforehand, I wouldn't have bothered.. Ringing YB *his bank* and Barclays *my old bank* getting told different things, took us about 2 months haha, IIRC it was YB who rectified it and put it back in his account.

Consider making minimum payment to protect you from potential hassle with regards to missed payment issues and credit file
