Muslin cloths vs cotton wool vs wipes for cleansing

Just wondering which you prefer. Those of you who use muslin cloths, how often do you change them and put them in the wash and do they remove eye make up fully?

I was a muslin cloth girl.. Then I read a blog but a skincare expert who advocates flannels. I switched back to flannels (new one every day, I dry them off and batch wash them hot with no fabric conditioner) and they are much better! I find a good flannel with decent eye make up remover works perfectly!0

muslin for my face with my nip + fab cleanser when i've been wearing make up & pad cleanser with lancome bi-facil for eye make up. muslin in with a towel wash on 60 degrees with no fabric conditioner, weekly wash.0

I have a coupLe of muslin clothes, which I do like a lot, but mainly I too use a facecloth ( I am also a clarisocin user).
Like you I use a new one every day, and when I'm finished in give the bathroom sink etc a quick wipe down with it before it goes into the washing basket.
The only hassle is folding and rolling them into the basket once they are dry tbh.0 -

I think that perhaps we follow the same guru:D Same for me with the flannels and the muslin cloths that I still have, but I do take the worst of my eye makeup off with remover and a cotton pad. Batch hot wash them with my hand towels. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
I was for a little while a muslin girl, but I do prefer flannels they are just a little bit more "scrubby" which I prefer.
They last longer and you can treat them a bit more meanly to get stubborn mascara stains off and when they start to go a bit grey and manky I bin the lower quality ones and dye the decent ones.

Either flannels or muslins for me, which ever is on the top of the folded stack in the cupboard under the basin!
I use Superdrug Naturally Radiant. I put it on with my hands, rub it in, especially round my eyes, then take it off with a good scrub from the cloth. (Not a scrub round my eyes though). The flannels are definitely 'scrubier' I always use a clean one in the morning, rinse it and hang it in the bathroom to dry 'till the evening. Use the same one at night, then put it in the wash.
Same routine whether I'm wearing make up or not.
Never use cotton wool and wipes are only for emergencies when I'm not near water0 -

This is exactly what I do too!I read so many things online about how wipes probably don't clean your face very well at all, and I needed to sort out my skin, so I switched back to flannels.

Flannels - multipack from Asda/Primark etc do the job just grand!
Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.0 -
I use microfibre cloths. I just wash them out after each use with soap and hot water, then stick them in the wash after a few days.0

I used to swear by muslin cloths, then I bought an Emma Hardie cloth and it changed my mind on muslin cloths, However, I suspect using a regular flannel would be just as good and cheaper0
