Hi I have sent of a renewal form for my son dla over 7 weeks ago . I had a letter 3 weeks after saying that they had received it and I should have a decision in 8 weeks .
Today I get a letter saying about the claim and explaining the rules of acting as my sons appointed person . It does not say anything about weather my son claim has been renewed just IF it has then these are the rules .
Has anyone else had one of these letters sent to them I have never heard of these before
thanks

It is normal to around the age of 16 get a form/visit on if it's still appropriate for you to remain in charge of your sons benefit.
This is not to do with DLA/PIP specifically.0
