My claim has just been rejected by the ombudsman after 2 years!! So frustrated. They've said I can appeal so an actual ombudsman can look at my case however anyone else had this from Nationwide? If anyone else has appealed the ombudsman decision do you know how much longer I am expected to wait to hear?

It takes many more months to reach an actual Ombudsman and, I have to say, it is very rare for an Ombudsman to override an adjudicator's decision.ryan180680 wrote: »If anyone else has appealed the ombudsman decision do you know how much longer I am expected to wait to hear?
On what basis did you complain to the Bank and on what basis did the FOS adjudicator agree with the Bank's rejection? How much verifiable documentary evidence do you have to support your complaint?0 -
Why was your complaint rejected? What were your complaint reasons? What evidence can you produce to persuade them to change their mind (most adjudicator decisions are not overturned)I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

In 88% of final decisions, ombudsmen reached the same basic conclusions as the adjudicators who handled the cases in the earlier stages
