Was visiting people last week and stumbled on this UKPC managed private street
https://maps.google.co.uk/?ll=51.644648,-0.729926&spn=0.000007,0.007371&t=m&z=18&layer=c&cbll=51.644628,-0.729753&panoid=70ONgGRNvQPxu6VFq1ySjg&cbp=12,210.09,,0,0
I am guessing the Private starts at the cobbles on the lamp posts are the signs.
Can these signs be anyway compliant?
You could pull in and park and never see one.
(quite a nice curry house round the corner, does a good meal for £10 on Tues.)

I have never seen a UKPC site yet that is signed up correctly!
I imagine these are left over from when it was a building site
There is another site in Wycombe still under construction that is infested with them here:

I know this area well, spot the sign? There are certainly no signs at the entrance to the site!
The "attendant" keeps well away from any occupied vehicles, especially ones with large builders in them when on his rounds!:D0 -
Entrance signs are mandatory under the BPA CoP.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

AIUI there were no signs till they built the block of flats to the right and the small car park(free turn 180deg) was allways full so people started parking on the private street and no entrance signs.
