hello, i have been reading a lot of information in the past couple of hours and thought it be best to make my own thread as this seems to be suggested a lot! Ill try to keep it short;
The vehicle received a windscreen ticket 1 minute after being parked by UKCPS. £100 to be paid or £60 if within 14 days. Registration/date/time/vehicle model/location/issued by and reason are all filled in correctly. Reason was no valid permit or authority.
Im guessing i wait 28 days until i do the next step or contacting them etc?

As long as you are the registered keeper of the car (i.e. named on the V5 form), then yes, wait for the Notice to Keeper.0

When you do receive the NTK use the standard appeal on the NEWBIES thread. You could also add an additional point of their failure to adhere to section 13 of the BPA code of practice regarding a grace period13 grace periods
13.1 Your approach to parking management must allow a driver who enters your car park but decides not to park, to leave the car park within a reasonable period without having their vehicle issued with a parking charge notice.
13.2 You should allow the driver a reasonable ‘grace period’ in which to decide if they are going to stay or go. If the driver is on your land without permission you should still allow them a grace period to read your signs and leave before you take enforcement action.
13.3 You should be prepared to tell us the specific grace period at a site if our compliance team or ourNewbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Click on words Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Newbie thread is the first post. Blue New Thread button is just above it to left.0 -
