it wont be £5 for international if you only got charged 48p uk see my post above.

I think you have your weights wrong. If you paid 48p then the parcel must be 85g ie. 0.085kg so then the price abroad would be approx £1.19.

you need to get some scales or go to the post office tomorrow morning with the parcel packaged up and get them to weigh it and give you a price.

Without the exact weight we cant do a lot on here.

I'm taking this from the Post office receipt from the one I sent in the UK on wednesday, i've lost the price guide I usually use, but that was in wales, and the girl wasn't paying any attention - she was talking to her collegues about her night out (and apparently, she can look good after a long night out boozing). I'll pop down the local PO in the morning and double check, just thought i'd ask on here if anyone knew, thanks anyway :)

A good way to work-out postage is to look for people selling the same, or similar items. Or you could parcel it up & get your local PO to give you a UK 1st class signed for cost, add £1 for good measure, then when its sold, send it 2nd class unsigned-for and pocket the extra profits (well thats what I do anyway).

Hope you don't state 1st recorded on your listing! There's about a gazillion threads here complaining about people who use a cheaper method than stated

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j

I don't - always use 1st class only, only use recorded on anything worth over £15, just for safety measure!

Personally, i'd think the latter - its a small light package, but reading through the receipts, they say 0.83/0.84, not 0.084 or 0.085, why would RM put that if it was 0.85, unless thier machines were possibly malfunctioning o.O This is confusing, I think its a possibility thier machine was playing up and missed the extra 0

If you post a lot of items, then it might be worth while purchasing a set of postal scales, even a cheap set will do the job for an outlay of £20ish.
