. Set-up out of the box was very minimal, though the thing is heavy (70-odd kilos).

    .

The one thing that concerned me prior to purchase was noise, being that I live in an apartment with people below me and to both sides. While the treamill isn't exactly whisper quiet it's not that loud - certainly nothing like the noise of say a washing machine (plus if you're running it's likely that you'll have music/tv on anyway). No-one has complained anyway.

    Hi

Can anyone who lives in a converted flat help me?

I am thinking of buying a home treadmill. I also live in an upstairs flat. But it is a conversion just ordinary floor boards above downstairs ceiling .My flat is not purpose built with strong concrete floors. Am concerned that with my heavy weight pounding the machine could it cause problems with structure?

  • Hi All,

I'm thinking of buying a treadmill and have also seen the Reebok Fusion STILL on offer at Argos.

I would appreciate any comments from people that did go ahead and buy it.

    Thanks

I bought the reekbok treadmill last year when it was "half-price" at £499. It gets used most days ... either by myself or my partner who is 6.6f and 17 stone!... it has a good range of programes/speeds and a strong solid frame. The only "downside" is it doesnt have mp3/radio inbuilt or it doesnt have a heart rate monitor to monitor your heart over a set distance/time.
If you have any specific questions feel free to ask.

I've been looking at this treadmill actually. I'm quite tall and used to running on huge treadmills at gyms so couldn't help wondering if I might feel a bit cramped and uneasy downsizing to this. Any thoughts? Thanks.
  • The product advertised in the online catalogue is the Reebok Fusion REV-10301, however Reebok no longer make this model. If you order it, you will get a totally different model - the Reebok Vector REV-11301. It is has cream-coloured trimmings, it doesn't have the motion sensors, nor does it have the drinks holders. You have been warned.
  • Could anyone please confirm that this treadmill is foldable. Also if it is what are the approx folded dimensions please.
  • I ordered the Reebok Fusion 2 weeks ago from Argos and when I saw the previous post about the different model being delivered I phoned Argos to query it. They assured me that the one that would be delivered would be the Fusion, as they would have to state that it would be a different model when you order under Trade Desc etc.

My treadmill arrived today, and sure enough it is the Reebok Vector. Any ideas how much this is worth, whether it is any good, and where I stand with Argos under Trade Desc etc. I haven't taken it out of the box yet, and they did say that I could return it if I wanted. Just wondered what people thought?
  • Unpacked the treadmill turns out it was the Reebok Fusion but the invoice stated Reebok Vektor, but it doesn't work, when we finally got in touch with the repair people they said that a connection had probably come loose in transit, and offered a technician in 5-7 days.

Argos are coming to collect it and offered an exchange for the same one again, but I have opted for the Roger Black Gold instead, after reading other postings.

Sicilian, yes it does fold up!
  • So I thought I offer some info I've found out...

I read several posts about model numbers changing etc and after a few calls around I found the following info :

The machine that will be delivered will be the Fusion REV-11301, however the box maybe labelled 'Reebok Vector'.

The tech support chap I spoke too told me as long as it has 'REV' in the part number it's a Fusion treadmill and the Vector name is Argos re-branding the treadmill (which incidentally are all made under license)

With regard to features changing, he told me that all he could find was :
    - Optical sensor removed - this was removed from the newer model due to it causing faults in the previous model.
    - Drinks holder has been removed.
    - Colour change (to cream).

I managed to get hold of the manuals for both machines direct from RFE :

    http://www.!!!!!!/file/80741160/85bea56c/REV10301_FusionTreadmill.html
    http://www.!!!!!!/file/80741186/f25e2dd7/REV11301__FusionTreadmill.html

That all said, it's an awesome treadmill. In case you fancied getting hold of them I've included the tech support number.

  • What is the horsepower of the reebok fusion...and vector???
Is it a continuous duty motor???
Thats the important information that is missing off the argos website LoL!
The motor is the most expensive part of the machine.

    Cheers
