Barclaycard cashback card cancelled

Is this happening to anyone else?
I'm an old Egg customer, moved onto Barclaycard when they bought them out. They are now moving me onto a new "simple" deal with 2 cards instead of one (visa and AMEX) (how is that more simple?)
They've been warning me of the switch for ages and told me that both sets of cards will run concurrently for a while. However They have cancelled my old Master card and not sent me my new visa and AMEX. I only found out with a trolley full of shopping. I'm fuming!
Would love to hear if anyone else has experienced similar?
