Can anyone please tell me why my iphone won 't pick up the Bluetooth signal for my fotoframe? The phone finds other Bluetooth devices but not this for some reason. Thanks for any advice.

I can only guess at things I'm sure you've already tried.
Is the Bluetooth switched on on the fotoframe?
Do you need to make the fotoframe/iPhone visible?
Do you need to press a "pair" button on either device?
When I had an iPhone 3 I did find a few things which had problems pairing with it and I have heard that Apple Bluetooth does have a few compatability problems.
Not sure if that is true or not though.
Hope this is something to keep you busy until you receive a more educated answer. Good luck.0 -
Dont think it works with fotoframes as file transfer (photos) is not supported over bluetooth:beer:0

Damn predictive text. Just saw the "foot" frame!
Thanks for the replies. Will stop wasting my time trying to get it to connect now then. Think I'll have to transfer to my PC. Cheers.0 -
Meant to say my partners Blackberry works using Bluetooth to transfer photos to the Phillips fotoframe.0

Apple in their wisdom don't allow that feature, every other phone I have owned had the ability to send photos to any bluetooth device, I think the official line is that bluetooth for file transfer isn't secure and can be intercepted.:beer:0 -
The iPhone doesn't support the Bluetooth file transfer protocol. No one really knows what Apple's reasons are for not supporting it. It could be tied to privacy concerns, or contract restrictions with record labels, or because the experience doesn't meet Apple's standards etc etc.0
