Whoa thats almost in Mac territory (probably good for photos/graphics) However if someone comes up with a good / better alternative can I have the change. Seriously though you could look for a laptop circa 400-500 for portability and spend about 200 on a decent screen for when you get home to edit, and a beer or two for me.

This with IPS screen, but resolution only with 1600 x 900

    I can't find 1920 x 1080 17.3" with IPS

Will you consider 15.6" and get a big IPS monitor when doing photo editing?
