Netflix, Chromecast and Italy

I'll be in Italy shortly and was wondering if my Netflix Uk account will be useable there. Will I be able to watch BBC?

Netflix, and BBC iplayer, are set up on my iPad Retina and my Galaxy S4. When at home I use those and my Chromecast to watch movies on my TV and I'm wondering if I can do the same abroad

I know that the Hola app works fine on Firefox on my laptop, but I'll not have it with me.

Any suggestions? And as always many thanks for advice offered.

Is there not an app that works similar in the same way as Hola does but for the ipad ? I dont do idevices im afraid.

It probably won't work with the Chromecast as it makes its own connection to Netflix, etc, and will be seen as connecting from the true physical location.

I guess you could test it by using hola to pretend you are in the US and see if you get US netflix to work properly.
