Defence-Systems reject appeal

Pleased to hear that it all worked out for. Don't forget to spread the word.My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
By all means write to the BPA, who will do nothing, but the real complaint is to DVLA that this company accessed your personal details over something that had absolutely nothing to do with parking, and alleged keeper liability against you when the law provides for no such thing. Keeper liability exists (sometimes) for parking on private land and nothing else.
DVLA will almost certainly give you the brush-off, so you need to be persistent, escalating to your MP if necessary. Also, once you've got the first brush-off from DVLA, you can complain to ICO that there has been a breach of the DPA and the data controller (DVLA) refuses to do anything about it.Je suis Charlie.0 -
You now could, of course, issue them with your own invoice (followed if necessary with a MCOL) for costs incurred in fighting a charge for which they had absolutely legal cause to pursue you - and after all POPLA have proved that they were not entitled to anything, yet you had to go to considerable lengths and some expense to prevent them extorting money from you.
You could also threaten in your invoice covering letter that should they fail to settle the invoice then the County Court, with a preceding Letter Before Court, will be your next step via MCOL. What goes around, comes around!
Do a search on Biker Paul and Derek Donovan on PePiPoo who both successfully counter-claimed against PPCs.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Ah, maybe now I think about it, but there's some stuff on PePiPoo from him to give some good pointers on how to progress such a claim. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum.
