Deleting questions?

My Ebay keeps prompting me to respond to questions on my auctions. The thing is none of them actually need responding to. They're all messages from people replying to say 'thanks' to a message I sent them, or people who hit the send button a few too many times (or impatient people who can't wait more than an hour for a reply) and sent multiples of the same question so they've already been dealt with. I went into Messages and deleted everything so my Inbox is empty, but that didn't solve it - Ebay still have copies of the messages attached to each listing and keep prompting me to respond. Is there a way to stop this, or is it just another flaw in Ebay's design? (Yes, I know I can just ignore them, but my ridiculously neat, tidy, loose-end-hating brain is being driven to distraction seeing the 'respond' prompts every time I check my sales and I just want to make them all go away!)

I go to My eBay, Items for Sale and then click on the More Actions drop down next to the item with questions and choose Mark as Answered - this makes the notifications in the selling reminders section go away.

I hate seeing them too :-)

It does get annoying. Even the buyer thanking you for answering a question show as a question needing to be answered.
