Leather Sofa Arms

I bought a sofa from Harveys (yeah I know...) and it has red ink stains on the arms due to the idiot in the factory putting the ink side of the plastic wrapping in direct contact with the white leather it was meant to be protecting. Technician came over and said they can either replace the arm covers (bit of drilling, stapling etc) or respray the arms. Just wondering if anyone had any experience with either and which to go for if poss please?
Kind regards.
Kind regards.

Blimey, I think I be expecting a new sofa in this instance, rather than a bodge job with some leather spray :-/
Did you check the sofa on delivery?0 -
The spray will come off, especially on arms which are high wear areas.0

I did check on delivery. The driver made a note and told me to call them which I did. I waited 3.5 months for the sofas so don't really want to wait another 3.5 for different ones. Prepared to bite the bullet if they're able to replace the arms or re spray. I guess replacing the arms is safer then? This is what the technician from Castelan told me yesterday anyway. Harveys yet to call me back about it but I guess I'll see what they say. New sofas would be best if they can replace ASAP but just can't see that happening :-(0
