Morning all,
Having a new kitchen next month and currently looking to procure the above items. We are having white quartz/granite worktops so looking for black induction hob (think this is the only kind), a silver integrated double oven, dishwasher and fridge.
Have you got any of these above items and do you recomend them/where did you buy them from?
Is there value in keeping with the same brand, i.e. Neff everything etc? We currently have Miele and Bosch and are very happy with both brands.
Look forward to any advice on brands/places to purchase?

depends on your price range. I have Bosch DW , it is great. Indesit Induction and oven, both are good too.
Have a look in your local Euronics store, they have lines that are exclusive and they have good buying power too, through their central stores, so are competitive. A lot of the lines are the same as JL, as they are set up with the same buying terms. Nicer to see the products in the flesh, than looking at pictures on the internet. Good back up too. Fitters for our local Euronics also does deliveries and fitting for John Lewis too.0 -

Excellent. Thanks for the recommendation. It just so happens that we have a Euronics store less than a mile from our house, I'd just completely forgotten about it and did the age old 'lets go for online as it'll be cheaper' routine...Will check out now.
We will be in this house approximately 10yrs so I don't want to have to change in that time.... for that reason, maybe more expensive (see reliable) brands are the correct choice....0 -
Fair play, Euronics website is TERRIBLE! Will go and chat to them instore!0

We've got a Bosch induction hob and a Neff built in double oven. Very happy with both of them.
If you have the money I would say go for Mielle but the mid range makes should be fine too."We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein0 -
Thanks Clive. Are Neff and Bosch considered mid range?
I do like Miele stuff, a few appliances and a Hoover are in our house due to 10ur parts and labour warranties but their stuff is top wack for price!0 -

We just bought Neff everything, except for the integrated fridge and freezer which we bought John Lewis branded (I believe they are made by AEG, could be wrong). We got Neff induction hob (5 panel), oven, micro/combi, and dishwasher. They are all excellent.
Bosch, Neff and Siemens are the same company/factory but branded differently. There are slight differences between the brands but these are often cosmetic or control panels rather than actual build quality. All three are excellent mid-to-high end brands. Bosch is the value brand of the three (tends to be a bit no-frills in terms of styling), and I think Siemens is the top end (tends to be more stylish) but the Neff stuff is right up there too.
Miele is very expensive, and although their washing machines are simply amazing I personally am not convinced by their other products.
I bought everything from John Lewis as they were the cheapest and I trust them to deal with any problems properly.
Hope this helps, have fun!0 -
I think most of our major kitchen appliances are Bosch or Neff.
Our fridge is around 15 years old, the dishwasher around 6 years old, the oven also around 6 years old. The washing machine is around 3 years old but the previous one lasted around 8-10 years. Our induction hob is a new toy, previously we had a Neff gas hob which was about 100 years old and still going strong but we fancied a change.
Generally we've been very pleased with them."We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein0 -
I have a Bosch double oven and a John Lewis own brand dishwasher. No induction hob. Bought partly from John Lewis and partly from local Euronics shop. When the local shop heard that I was also ordering from JL, they got me one item at a slightly reduced price (think it was the oven).0

We are looking at a new kitchen at the moment and replacing all of our appliances, we went to a Miele lets do lunch and we loved their products until we came home and looked at prices. My problem is although I have a Miele washing machine the Miele prices mean that for the oven we were looking at we can buy a pyrolytic 5 series oven and pyrolytic combi microwave from Neff for the same price and it wasn't top of the range Miele.
We have found near us in Kent a Neff, Miele and Bosch kitchen showroom that is willing to do just our appliances with no kitchen. Even their display prices are cheaper than JL and AO. When we asked them if there was a deal for a number of appliances we were told they could give us a package price. On speaking to them over the weekend they told us that in Germany Bosch has a better name than Neff but over here it is vice versa! The prices are often separated by only a couple of pounds but maybe to do with minor differences on features. Siemens tend to use blue lighting on appliances and Bosch red. We will be sticking to the Siemens free standing fridge over the Bosch almost the same because it comes with a 5 year warranty. Bosch induction hobs currently come with a set of pans included and I think their warranties are 2 years.0 -
Indicative prices for series 5 Neff pyro oven and combi microwave should be around £1800. Comparable Miele ovens are their entry level model H2661BP and H6200BM. This will come in around the £2200 mark. You are no doubt paying more but getting much better, including larger cooking cavities, much better build quality, components giving you better cooking performance. Miele accessories can be left in the oven while cleaning. Neff cant.
Miele dont do pyrolitic combi microwaves as they believe it compromises cooking performance and as a dealer of both I can honestly say Miele is much better than Neff so the relatively small spend is well worth it.
For a bit more, upgrade to the H6260BP which will also give you Moisture plus. Its a great feature. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
