Filing a direct debit indemnity claim?

Hi,
My other half signed up with Vodafone a couple of years ago on a contract and was supposed to get a corporate discount through her place of work. The discount wasn't applied and I'm afraid I didn't noticed it for a while...
She rang them now 5 seperate times. They admitted they owe her the £200 and kept promising it will be back inherent bank account in a few days (but it never is). Can I contact the bank and recall the direct debit for the last 5 months to make up for it?
Thanks,
Sharon

no
this is a great way to cause more hassle.0 -
Short answer - Yes
Long answer - If they have taken more than the agreed amount on the DD, then they have acted without instruction and you can get the bank to reverse it. However, if you just go ahead and do it, they might register a default. It might be better to send then a "letter before action" with the threat to take it to small claims.[size=-2] If this post was unhelpful, please tell me.
