urgent printer help

in Techie Stuff
my hp deskjet 1000 j110a wont fully print any pages,it will print a test page and some of what i need to print but most of the text is not printed,i have unistalled and re-installed the software from the hp site to no avail,both inks are showing about 50% full and i have removed and replaced them
any ideas?

What are using to print Word, Photo Software , PDF ?

sorry been trying to print a pdf and paper sizes are correct if that helps?0

Try to print in black and white (print setting) only and see if that works for a start.
If that fails, it could be the ink - try taking out the cartridges, give them a shake and put back in.
But that won't explain why test page works....0 -
Are you using Windows 7? If so, try this, it worked for me last year:
Uninstall your printer, make sure you have all the drivers and software removed, after uninstalling, check Control Panel -> Programmes and Features and see if there is any trace of the HP printer left.
Switch off computer, unplug the printer from the computer. Switch on computer, plug in the printer again. With any luck, Windows will find your printer as "New Hardware" and ask if you want to install Windows drivers. Accept that and away you go. Then try to print: first a Test Page, then any document on your PC, preferably one with some colour.
