Unsuccessful Ovivo chargeback, what to do next?

Hi,

I tried to use chargeback to get my money back after Ovivo closed down. I used the template letter in the chargeback article, but AquaCard replied that they were unable to recover the funds. What should I try next? Complain to the Financial Ombudsman?

Letter from AquaCard:

We are sorry to learn that you have encountered problems with OVIVO MOBILE.

Our ability to assist a cardholder is limited to the nature of the dispute regarding any transaction paid for on a credit card. Unfortunately, the Scheme Regulations do not offer us any means of recovering funds from a retailer in these circumstances.

We suggest that you try to resolve the matter with the retailer directly.

If the item you bought was <£100 and the liquidators have confirmed their are no funds to repay creditors then sadly there isn't really anything you can do
