I didn't ridicule him - just pointed out how unlikely the story was, especially given that he claimed that a letting agent had been involved.OP doesn't need to sign in to read the replies and decide not to bother coming back...
Making a first post of this type here - in this particular forum - is, in a case like this, a downright weird thing to do.
