Hi all I had one of these today as well mine has been running from December 2012 l must admit l did nothing as per Makaveli. l contacted the customer service line today who gave me a reference number and l have also sent an email. I did get in touch with the Parking Ticket Appeals Service but they were unable to help because its gone to a court claim.
Lets hope the co-op can end this for me.0 -
My wife is worried.
If this goes to court and she loses, will she receive a CCJ or a black mark on her credit score?
She has perfect credit and doesn't want anything to affect that.
Thank you!Nice to meet you all :beer:0 -
If you follow the advice it won't go to court.
A CCJ is a County Court Judgement. It is issued when a court claim is lost. It can ONLY affect credit rating IF it is then left unpaid within the timescale for payment assigned in the judgement (usually 28 days).
So IF she was taken to court and IF she lost and IF she didn't pay then it could affect her credit rating. That's a lot of IFs there.0 -

You only get a CCJ if you lose and then don't pay what the judge says within 28 days."The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri0 -
Ok thank you guys!
I'm just reading through this stuff https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4660007
We'll get a letter written to co-op when we're home from work.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

Even if the Co-op stopped paying these off they are perfectly defendable. Loads of links in the NEWBIES thread post #5 about small claims, and the only one we know about that ended up in a hearing ONE CASE, was lost by CEL at the first and second attempts! Please go to the NEWBIES thread (the sticky thread that says 'please read this first' but very few posters seem to!) in order to read about defences and the cases won, including CEL v McCafferty which you need to cite in your defences.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
